Abstract

The phenomenon of working while studying is often found in cities in Indonesia. Concurrent work and study activities certainly have challenges. Students who have work experience decreased motivation, experience anxiety when doing college and work assignments, are unable to overcome college and work conflicts and leave their lectures or jobs. This study aims to determine the relationship between academic resilience and self-efficacy with academic burnout in working students. The subjects in this study were 129 working students. Determination of the number of samples in this study using the saturated sample method. The measuring instruments used in this study are the Academic Burnout Scale, the Academic Resilience Scale, and the Self Efficacy Scale compiled by the researcher. Data analysis used in this study is multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that academic resilience and self efficacy together have a correlation with academic burnout. This study shows that there is a negative relationship between academic resilience and academic burnout. The higher the academic resilience, the lower the academic burnout of working students. There is a significant negative relationship between self-efficacy and academic burnout. The higher the self-efficacy, the lower the academic burnout of working students.
