Abstract

Indonesia is a country with a lot of diversity, one of which is in the culinary field. The existence of Indonesian food is unquestionable, even some of them are included in the top list of the most delicious food in the world. Surabaya is one of the cities in Indonesia that has a lot of culinary diversity. This is because culinary is a consumption need, this consumption activity can be complex when it intersects with the cultural identity of a particular community. The increasing public demand, especially in Surabaya City, for culinary businesses has caused traditional-based culinary businesses to sell well. However, lately the informal culinary business that is growing rapidly and is favored by urbanites is angkringan. One of the locations in Surabaya that is quite a lot occupied by angkringan businesses is Pucang Sewu Village, Gubeng District. The presence of malls, traditional markets, adjacent to several campus locations, and the tomb of the hero makes Pucang Sewu a densely populated area. This can create opportunities for various business fields to meet the needs and desires of the Pucang Sewu community, especially in the culinary field. The purpose of this research is to analyze the feasibility of angkringan business in Pucang Sewu Village, Gubeng District, Surabaya City in terms of financial aspects. This research uses a qualitative analysis description research method. This research uses 6 (six) angkringan as informants who are useful in collecting data through observation, interviews, and questionnaires. The results showed that the average R/C calculation result of the six angkringan business informants was 2.28> 1; the average ROI calculation result of the six angkringan business informants was 1.09> 1; the average BEP unit of the informants was 16 units, where the value was (<) the amount that could be sold; and the average BEP rupiah showed a result of Rp 989,681, which means that the BEP rupiah is less than (<) revenue. The conclusion is, based on analytical tools in the form of R/C, ROI, and BEP conducted on six informants as angkringan business owners in Pucang Sewu Village, Gubeng District, Surabaya City, it is declared feasible to run.
