Abstract

The key to an agency's success lies in the dedication and high responsibility of its employees. Efforts to increase productivity continue to be made by each agency in order to achieve the targets that have been set. The leadership style of a leader in an organization generally has a significant impact on the work atmosphere and achievement of organizational goals. This study aims to determine whether Leadership Style has an influence on the Performance of Police Officers. Research design is an important component in research, and in this study, the author uses a quantitative method with a cross�sectional design. This study aims to analyze the influence of leadership style on the performance of police officers at the Bojonegoro Police Department. The data was collected through questionnaires distributed to 476 police officers, consisting of 425 male police officers and 51 female police officers. The data was analyzed using simple linear regression analysis. The results showed that there is a positive and significant influence of leadership style on the performance of police officers at the Bojonegoro Police Department. This means that the leadership style applied by the leadership at the Bojonegoro Police Department has a significant influence on improving the performance of its members. The conclusion of this study is that there is an influence between leadership style and the performance of police officers at the Bojonegoro Police Department. From the results of the data analysis, the coefficient of determination was obtained at 0.999. This result means that 99% of the variation in member performance can be explained by the leadership style variable. Of all the leadership style variables, all indicators, namely the ability and quality of leadership, the situation, and the ability and quality of subordinates, were found to have an influence on the member performance variable.
