Abstract

The P3SPS Academy program held by KPID East Java aims to increase the understanding and awareness of television media practitioners about ethics in the world of broadcasting. The topic of broadcasting ethics in the context of television media is very important in the field of communication science, especially because of the role and impact of mass media on modern culture and society. This research gap focuses on the direct relationship between the theoretical understanding of the P3SPS Academy Program and the real practice of television broadcasting. This study uses a quantitative descriptive approach because the research method is carried out to find out current events that can still be observed by researchers. Measurement tools such as questionnaires that contain a series of questions or statements are used to obtain data from respondents. As well as using SPSS Statistic software version 26 and Microsoft Excel to make it easier to process data. The results of this writing show that the existence of the P3SPS Academy Program greatly affects the understanding of broadcasting ethics of television media crews. Therefore, KPID East Java has the opportunity to continue to develop similar programs in a more massive and sustainable manner.
