Abstract

Penyandang disabilitas adalah seseorang yang memiliki kekurangan dalam melakukan aktivitasnya baik kekurangan fisik maupun mental. Pada tahun 2021 penyandang disabilitas terlantar di kota Surabaya meningkat secara signifikan yaitu dengan jumlah 7.785 jiwa yang tersebar di seluruh kecamatan kota Surabaya. Pekerjaan adalah bagian terpenting dari semua manusia termasuk kelompok penyandang disabilitas, oleh karena itu adanya fasilitas yang dapat mewadahi kelompok penyandang disabilitas sangatlah penting. Maka dari itu fasilitas yang harus disediakan pada kelompok disabilitas haruslah ramah difabel dan harus memperharikan konsep arsitektur behavior, Dimana konsep tersebut dapat menuntun para pengguna terutama penyandang disabilitas untuk menuju ke suatu tempat yang ingin dituju. Sehingga dapat menciptakan bangunan yang ramah difabel agar kelompok penyandang disabilitas nyaman melakukan kegiatan sehari – harinya.
