Abstract

The smoothness of the production process amidst increasingly fierce product competition is an important factor that needs to be prioritized, especially in the production facilities or machines used. So that the machine can operate well, planning and repairs will be carried out to ensure the machine is in good and optimal condition. Currently the machine damage at PT. So an improvement analysis is carried out by looking at historical machine data for cutting machines. This historical analysis can determine repair and maintenance actions that must be carried out and calculate maintenance intervals to determine the correct time for repair and replacement of spare parts as well as calculating the costs of losses and costs of machine repairs carried out. After the analysis was carried out, it was found that in 2023 the average percentage of machine damage was 44% with a total downtime of 1115.98 hours and total production of 2541.48 hours. It is said that the company experienced a production process due to 56% damage to the plong machine with a total loss of IDR 132,057,145 while in 2024 the average percentage of damage will be 46% with a total downtime of 373.24 hours and total production of 809.33 hours. It is said that the Company experienced 54% damage to the production process due to plong machines with a total loss of Rp.65,228,673. After carrying out the above analysis, it is hoped that the company will carry out consistent repairs or maintenance on production machines and the company can also carry out repairs and maintenance using historical machine analysis and applied using preventive maintenance methods.
