Abstract

PT Candi Jaya Amerta is a company engaged in the food sector and produces various types of traditional crackers. The process of transporting flour raw materials in the production of crackers is often an activity that requires a lot of energy and has the potential to pose a risk of injury to workers. Some of the problems that often arise in this process include heavy loads that must be lifted manually so that it takes a long time to transport raw materials so that it can reduce the effectiveness of material handling. So in this study, the design of a flour raw material transport tool was carried out, namely an ergonomic weighing trolley to reduce the level of fatigue in workers, speed up the process of moving raw materials and ensure that orders sent were in accordance with orders. the method used to design the tool is the anthropometric method where the results of collecting anthropometric data on workers are used as a reference for designing the tool. the cardiovascular load method is used to measure the level of fatigue of workers, the Reba method is used to assess the work posture of workers. From the results of the study, it was found that the dimensions of the trolley scales tool were 131cm high, 88cm wide, and 125cm long. It is known that the percentage of worker fatigue with % CVL before using the tool design of worker 1 = 72.5%, worker 2 = 61.22% then there was a decrease in the level of fatigue after using the tool design to %CVL worker 1 = 43%, worker 2 = 26%. For the results of the assessment of work posture with Reba is before using the tool design obtained the final score of Reba 12 which means that the work posture has a very high risk classification, after using the tool design obtained the final score of Reba 4 which means that the work posture has a moderate risk classification.
