Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan di UMKM bapak khambali. UMKM bantal bapak Khambali merupakan UMKM yang bergerak di bidang pembuatan bantal dan guling dengan produksi rata-rata perhari sebesar 140 Pcs. Produk unggulan dari UMKM ini yaitu bantal dakron.Permsalahan yang terjadi pada UMKM bantal bapak khambali yaitu hasil produksi sering tidak memenuhi permintaan karena pada proses pemasukan dakron ke dalam karung bantal membutuhkan waktu lama sekitar 7 menit. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu meningkatkan kapasitas produksi dan menurunkan harga pokok produksi. Metode dalam penelitian ini yaitu, Antropomerti yang menjadi acuan ukuran rancangan mesin agar pengunaan mesin tersebut aman dan nyaman, kemudian dilakukan pengukuran waktu kerja menggunakan metode time study dan perhitungan harga pokok produksi yang nantinya dilakukan perbandingan sebelum dan sesudah melakukan perancangan. Hasil yang di dapat dari perancangan adalah peningkatan produksi yang sebelumnya 140 Pcs menjadi 207 Pcs perhari. Selain itu, perancangan mesin pengisi bantal dakron dapat menurunkan harga pokok produksi yang sebelumnya Rp. Rp.26.867 menjadi Rp. 25.103. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah setelah melakukan perancangan alat pengisi bantal dakron dapat meingkatkan produksi sebesar 67 Pcs dan penurunan harga pokok produksi sebesar Rp. 1.854 Kata Kunci : Rancang bangun mesin, Antropometri, Kapasitas produksi, Harga Pokok Produksi
