Abstract

Proses pengayakan merupakan salah satu proses produksi dengan waktu proses cukup lama karena keterbatasan alat ayak sebelumnya. Proses produksi menjadi lama dan sering mengalami keterlambatan proses pengiriman akibat proses produksi yang lama dengan kondisi permintaan konsumen meningkat. Permintaan konsumen yang meningkat membuat UMKM H.J Irin mengalami kendala yang cukup berpengaruh pada aktivitas proses produksi. Pada penelitian ini dilakukan perancangan mesin pengayak yang ergonomi dengan metode antropometri dengan tujuan dapat membantu proses pengayakan menjadi lebih cepat dan peningkatan produktivtas. Antropometri merupakan metode yang digunakan untuk mengetahui ukuran yang sesuai dengan data antropometri ang didapatkan dari hasil pengukuran tubuh pekerja. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode time study dengan cara melakukan pengamatan secara langsung mencatat waktu normal dan waku standart. Dari hasil pengolahan data yang telah dilakukan dari hasil antropometri pekerja, maka didapatkan ukuran dimensi pada mesin tinggi mesin 89 cm, lebar wadah saringan 45 cm, dan lebar mesin total 50 cm. Peningkatakatan yang terjadi pada proses pengayakan maka didapatkan peningkatan produktivitas yang terjadi sebesar 4,6%, dengan rincian produktivitas alat pengayak manual sebesar 20,04% dan sesudah adanya perancangan mesin sebsar 15,44 %.
