Abstract

Students are individuals who pursue education in higher education. When studying at the end of college students have responsibilities that must be fulfilled, one of which is a thesis. In preparing the thesis, students often experience difficulties in the process. The difficulties experienced by final students if they experience continuous obstacles will make them stressed. This study uses quantitative methods with multiple regression analysis correlation techniques. This study with a total sample of 132 Psychology Students at the University of August 17, 1945. The results showed that learning motivation was significant with the stress level of students who were preparing a thesis with a p value = 0.000 < 0.01 and social support was not significant with the stress level of students who were preparing a thesis with a p value = 0.524 > 0.01. The results of the hypothesis correlation show that there is a relationship between learning motivation and social support with the stress level of students who are preparing a thesis with a significance value of p = 0.000 < 0.01. This means that the higher the motivation to learn and social support, the lower the stress level of students who are preparing a thesis.
