Abstract

The importance of this research is to see Islamic stocks being able to survive during the Covid 19 pandemic. However, prior to the Covid 19 pandemic, namely in the 2014-2018 period, it shows that the Islamic stock price index, namely JII shares, experienced fluctuations. In 2015 it fell by 89.86 points, from 2016 to 2017 it increased by 165.82 points, then in 2018 it fell again by 73.85 points. For this reason, before making an investment, an investor should pay attention to internal and external conditions that can affect the movement of the stock price index which always fluctuates. This situation is reflected in the company's value and the various factors that influence it, such as macroeconomics, CSR disclosure, sharia business risk, female directors, and financial performance. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of macroeconomics, CSR disclosure, sharia business risk, female directors, and financial performance on firm value. The population in this study amounted to 30 companies with a total sample of 27 companies listed on the Jakarta Islamic Index. The sample criteria used are companies listed on the Jakarta Islamic Index (JII30), issuing annual reports, and audited financial reports from 2014-2018 for five consecutive years. The data analysis technique used is PLS-SEM with SmartPLS software. The results of the study show that macroeconomics has no effect on female directors and financial performance, but has an effect on firm value. CSR Disclosure has no effect on female directors and company value, but does affect financial performance. Sharia business risk has no effect on firm value, but has influence on female directors and firm value. Female directors and financial performance affect the value of the company. Female directors cannot mediate the effects of macroeconomics, CSR disclosure, and sharia business risks on firm value. Financial performance cannot mediate the effect of macroeconomics on firm value but mediates the effect of CSR disclosure and sharia business risk on firm value.
