Abstract

The research objective to be achieved in accordance with the problem formulation described above is to analyze: (1) The influence of corporate social responsibility on company value in plantation sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. (2) The effect of profitability on company value in plantation sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. (3) The influence of company size on company value in plantation sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. (4) Do corporate social responsibility, profitability and company size together have a significant effect on company value in plantation sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange? In the data collection process, this research uses secondary data originating from annual reports and sustainability reports of plantation sector companies for the period 2020 - 2022. The type of research used in this research is quantitative descriptive. The analysis technique used in this research is multiple linear regression to test the hypothesis. Meanwhile, the classical assumption tests used include the Multicollinearity Test, Heteroscedasticity Test, Autocorrelation Test, and Data Normality Test. The results of the classical assumption test show that this research has fulfilled, among other things, 1). There is no multicollinearity; 2). There is no heteroscedasticity; 3) There is no autocorrelation in both regression models; and 4). Residuals are normally distributed. The results of the analysis findings conclude that partially corporate social responsibility has a positive effect on company value; 2) partially profitability has a positive effect on company value; 3) partially company size has a positive effect on company value; 4) simultaneously has a positive effect on company value. This indicates that if the company carries out corporate social responsibility well, profits are high and the size of the company is large, it can increase the value of the company.
