Abstract

Public service innovation is a breakthrough type of public service, whether it is an original creative idea/idea and/or an adaptation/modification that provides benefits to society, either directly or indirectly. This innovation does not have to be a new discovery, but also includes new approaches, expansions or improving the quality of existing public service innovations. One of the public service application innovations created is a government program in the form of the KNG (Klampid New generation) application. As the main tool to facilitate citizen services related to Population Administration management. The aim of this research is to describe the implementation of e-government in the field of public services using the Klampid New Generation application. The method used in this research is descriptive research with a qualitative approach. Regarding the existence of the KNG application, it shows that the Surabaya city government is trying to provide convenience to the community. With this application, it is hoped that it can realize the community's hopes of getting good service and can be easily implemented by the community because it saves time, money and energy.
