Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat hubungan antara kontrol diri dan intensitas penggunaan media sosial dengan kecenderungan perilaku seks bebas pada remaja. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah 1.686 SMK (X) Surabaya. Partisipan penelitian ini berjumlah 268 siswa-siswi SMK (X) Surabaya dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Instrument penelitian menggunakan skala likert, metode untuk analisis data yang digunakan adalah regresi berganda dengan bantuan IBM SPPSS versi 25.0 for windows dan hasil uji simultan menunjukkan nilai signifikansi 0,000 (p<0,05). Artinya bahwa kontrol diri dan intensitas penggunaan media sosial berhubungan signifikan secara simultan (bersama-sama) terhadap kecenderungan perilaku seks bebas. Uji parsial diperoleh skor t= -8,343 terdapat hubungan negatif antara kontrol diri dengan kecenderungan perilaku seks bebas dengan skor signifikan sebesar 0,00 (p<0,05). Sedangkan uji parsial diperoleh t= 14,611 dengan skor signifikan sebesar 0,00 (p<0,05) terdapat hubungan positif yang signifikan antara intensitas penggunaan media sosial dengan kecenderungan perilaku seks bebas.
