Abstract

Social Media is a forum for digital social interaction that is familiar to the public in general, because it can cover all very broad information. Study that examines the subscriber perception of one of the gaming YouTubers in Indonesia, Windah Basudara, towards the gaming simulator content played on his Yotube channel. This research uses qualitative methods with Stuart Hall's reception analysis theory approach, which focuses on 3 aspects, namely language, content, appearance and attitude. Windah Basudara is a Gaming Youtuber with 12 million subscribers and has more than a total of 4,717 thousand gaming content and continues to grow until this research is conducted. In this case, it shows that the gaming content presented by Windah Basudara is successful, because in the large number of games he often hosts, the simulator game content presented can also be understood by Windah Basudara Subscibers. Because the results of interviews with informants show dominant�positition results, which means that the three informants agree with the content of the simulator game played by Windah Basudara.
