Abstract

Information and communication technology, especially the internet, has experienced very rapid development. Almost all over the world, even in Indonesia, social media dominates the time spent doing "online" activities because it can be reached by the general public. Social media is currently the first communication and information medium that can be reached by all groups. Starting from children, teenagers, to adults. However, the existence of social media can not only speed up the delivery of forms of communication and information about the positive things or advantages of a product or brand or even an activity. Based on the analysis of the research findings described in the previous section, it can be concluded that the issue handling strategy cannot be generalized. However, there are standard stages that must be carried out by the Public Relations team in managing an issue.
