Abstract

Stand-up Comedy is a performance where a comedian appears on stage to convey funny stories, anecdotes, and personal and social concerns. Stand Up Comedy aims to make people laugh so they feel entertained. Stand-up Comedy can also be a means of conveying messages or social criticism. Stand-up Comedy relies on humor as the main means of communication. This research aims to interpret the moral message in Pandji Pragiwaksono's Stand Up Comedy Special Show "Komoidoumenoi" with the semiotic perspective of Charles Sanders Peirce. Data was collected using digital documentation techniques downloaded from the Comika. id website and analyzed using Charles Sanders Peirce's semiotic triangle of meaning, namely representament (sign), object, and interpretant. The results of this research describe moral messages relating to human relationships with God, themselves, and each other, as follows: Open attitude in national and state life, polite speech in respecting other people, courage to argue in the face of other people, clever thinking as life skills in dealing with situations, responsibility for the trust that has been given, deliberation as a means of solving problems, surrender in accepting the reality that occurs, and concern for other people.
