Abstract

This research aims to investigate the influence of organizational commitment and organizational citizenship behavior on employee performance through job satisfaction as an intervening variable. The study was conducted at the main branch of the Surabaya 60000 post office with a sample size of 65 respondents selected through random sampling. Data analysis was performed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with the SmartPLS 3 program. The results of this study indicate that organizational commitment has a positive but not significant impact on employee performance. Organizational citizenship behavior has a positive and significant impact on employee performance. Organizational commitment has a positive and significant impact on job satisfaction. Organizational citizenship behavior has a positive and significant impact on job satisfaction. Job satisfaction has a positive and significant impact on employee performance. Organizational commitment has a positive and significant impact on employee performance through job satisfaction. Organizational citizenship behavior has a positive and significant impact on employee performance through job satisfaction.
