Abstract

This research is to determine whether or not JKT48 is a brand ambassador which was studied using the AIDDA theory regarding interest in purchasing Erigo apparel products. This research uses quantitative methods with descriptive data types. In this study, the saturated sample was taken from the East Java JKT48 fan WhatsApp group with the sample size in this study being 100 respondents. The sampling technique uses probability sampling. Data collection used an online questionnaire (google form) for East Java JKT48 fans. The data analysis used is simple linear analysis, validity test, reliability test, linearity test, and hypothesis test using the SPSS version 26 program. Based on these results, it shows that the influence of the brand ambassador variable in this research on interest in buying Erigo apparel products is 50. 2% while the remaining 49.8% is influenced by other variables not studied.
