Abstract

Teknologi dalam pengelasan ini adalah suatu bagian dari teknologi dalam manufaktur dan pengelasan harusnya memperhatikan kesesuaian dari struktur pengelasannya agar bisa mencapai hasil yang terbaik, dan pengelasan juga perlu memperhatikan suatu hal terpenting, di antaranya yaitu efisiensi dari pengelasan, penghematan energy, serta harganya yang relative lebih murah. Tujuan nya dari di susunnya laporan ini ialah agar dapat mengetahui pengaruh dari hasil lasan metal shielded arc welding (SMAW) dengan menggunakan variasi suhu pemanasan 450,500, dan 550 serta variasi media pendinginan dengan air,oli,dan air colland terhadap kuat Tarik dan struktur mikro alluminium alloy 6061, Pemeriksaan hasil las merupakan metode uji destruktif yaitu berupa uji tarik (tensile test). dan penelitian ini juga bertujuan untuk menyelesaikan skripsi sebagai persyaratan kelulusan. Proses pendinginan dilakukan dengan alluminium alloy 6061 , menggunakan air sebagai media pendingin, oli SAE 20 dan pendinginan air cooland. Proses ini berguna untuk meningkatkan kekuatan tarik las Alluminium Alloy 6061 tanpa mengubah kimia secara keseluruhan. Metode yang dipilih dalam penelitian ini adalah eksperimen, dimana peneliti membuat kontrol alias kontrol dengan menggunakan metode eksperimen, tujuannya adalah untuk mengetahui kemungkinan hubungan sebab akibat dan juga untuk menentukan variasi dan metode yang akan digunakan.
