Abstract
This study shows a gap for research to add to new literature in Indonesia's government context. Several research results confirm this statement in various contexts, but in the context of government in Indonesia, it is not yet available. At the same time, the novelty of this research by adding self-concept becomes an indicator of professionalism. The study aimed to analyze and examine: 1) The influence of transformational leadership on professionalism; 2) The influence of transformational leadership on the psychological empowerment; 3) The influence of transformational leadership on the self-leadership; 4) The influence of transformational leadership on the commitment organizational 5) The influence of psychological empowerment on professionalism;6) The influence of self-leadership on professionalism; and 7)The influence of organizational commitment on professionalism of the State Civil Apparatus at the Human Resources Empowerment Personnel Agency in South Kalimantan Province. The method used in this research is the SEM modeling method with Amos software version 24. The sample involved is 178 State Civil Apparatus. The research instrument has been tested and confirmed valid and reliable using SPSS Version 26 software. The conclusions of the research are, 1) Transformational leadership affects professionalism; 2) Transformational leadership affects the psychological empowerment; 3) Transformational leadership affects the self-leadership; 4) Transformational leadership does not influence the organizational commitment. 5)Psychological empowerment does not influence professionalism; 6) Selfleadership does not affect them and; 7) Organizational commitment affects the professionalism of the State Civil Apparatus at the Human Resources Empowerment Agency in South; Keywords: transformational leadership, psychological empowerment, selfleadership, organizational commitment, professionalism of the state civil apparatus
