Abstract

Gresik Regency has very high population mobility and economic activity. Gresik Regency provides various public facilities in the form of public transportation that can be used by the community, for example: motorcycle taxis, taxis, trains, microbuses, inter-city buses, etc. The purpose of this study is to find out how much influence tariffs and discounts have on the demand for Go-Jek online motorcycle taxi transportation in Gresik Regency. This type of research uses quantitative methods, the sample in this study is 50 respondents. Data collection uses primary data through a questionnaire method. The data analysis used was multiple linear regression with data analysis tools using SPSS 25. Based on data analysis, it shows that simultaneously the tarif and discount variables together have a significant effect on the demand for Go-Jek online motorcycle taxi transportation in Gresik Regency. And partial analysis shows that the tariff and discount variables have no significant effect on the demand for Go-Jek online motorcycle taxi transportation in Gresik Regency.
