Abstract
A program from the Ministry of Trade called Kita cooking oil was introduced in 2022 with the goal of making it simpler for the general people to purchase cooking oil at reasonable costs, specifically the maximum retail price (HET) of Rp. 14,000 perliter. Finding out, analyzing, and providing a response to the factors affecting the demand for our cooking oil in the village Tebel�Jombang Village are the study goals to be attained in line with the formulation of the problem given above. A total of 50 participants were chosen for this study from the Tebel-Jombang Village neighborhood utilizing the incidental sampling methodology. A quantitative technique is used in this kind of study. This study's analytical approach was quantitative in nature. with analysis of numerous linear regressions. The study's findings show that the price variable (X1), whose tcount > ttable value is 3,369 > 2,014 and whose significance value is 0.02, the number of family members variable (X2), whose tcount > ttable value is 2.391 > 2.014 and whose significance value is 0.021 0.05, and the household income variable (X3), whose tcount > ttable value is 2,183 > 2,014 and whose significance value The demand for our cooking oil is significantly impacted negatively by the variable price of other items (X4), which has a value of -2.193 > 2.014 and a significance value of 0.033 0.05. Based on the coefficient of determination (R2 ) value, which equals 0.269 and indicates a coefficient of determination of 26.9%. Therefore, it can be stated that the demand for our cooking oil (Y) of 27.1% is concurrently influenced by the variable price (X1), family size (X2), household income (X3), and the price of other items (X4). While the remaining 72.9% is affected by factors-factors not included in the regression equation or by factorsthat have not been studied.
