Abstract

Penelitian ini bertempat di PT. Romi Violeta yang merupakan salah satu produsen furniture terbesar di Indonesia yang produknya sudah di ekspor ke berbagai Negara. Pada produk Enzo Bar Cabinet kerap kali ditemukan kecacatan seperti variasi warna tidak rata (color variation), pengoperasian pintu yang tidak sempurna (door operation), warna akhir kasar (rough finish), dan cacat pada marmer (marble). Maka dari itu dengan metode Statistical Process Control (SPC) dan Failure Mode and Analysis (FMEA) yang bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi faktor – faktor penyebab cacat dan memberikan usulan perbaikan produk Enzo Bar Cabinet di PT. Romi Violeta. Dari hasil analisis yang telah dilakukan, didapatkan cacat warna akhir kasar (rough finish) merupakan cacat yang paling sering terjadi yakni 170 kejadian dengan persentase 37,20%, yang disebabkan oleh faktor manusia, lingkungan, metode dan material. Sehingga usulan perbaikan guna mengurangi defect rough finish yaitu melakukan briefing serta meminta bantuan operator lain dalam pengamplasan, dan menyiapkann stok serta memastikan kertas amplas masih layak sebelum proses pengamplasan.
