Abstract
This study aims to determine the relationship between quality of work life and work engagement in journalists. This study uses quantitative research with a total of 89 subjects. The sampling technique in using the entire population. The samples that participated in this study were people who worked as journalists. The instrument used in this study is the UWES (Utrecht Work engagement Scale) scale by Schaufeli (2004) for work engagement variables and adapting Walton's (1987) theory for quality of work life. The data obtained were then analyzed using product moment analysis technique with the help of SPSS 26 for Windows. Based on the calculation of the analysis using Product Moment, the score rxy = 0.646 with p = 0.000 (p < 0.05, meaning that there is a significant positive relationship between quality of work life and work engagement in journalists. As a result, the higher the quality of work life, the higher the work engagement of journalists.
