Abstract

Information Technology plays an important and influential role in people's lives, especially in the City of Surabaya. One of the electronic media that has been very influential and has succeeded in attracting audiences is radio. Radio broadcasting media is the oldest existing broadcasting media as a means of conveying information. The development of radio which accelerates various programs is designed to get more listeners. This method is carried out by radio stations to maintain the freedom to be heard by the wider community. easy to listen to, one of which is the Cheerful Afternoon program from RRI PRO 2 Surabaya. Through the Event Program Creative Team, how they can adopt new innovative ideas and how they create content to attract listeners. This made many people interested in listening to the Ceria Sore Program. Based on this phenomenon, the researcher is interested in knowing the strategy of the Cherry Afternoon Program Creative Team at RRI PRO 2 in increasing the existence of the radio. The research method uses a qualitative descriptive approach with observation and interview data collection techniques. The results in this study show the strategy carried out by the Creative Team by using content visualization in the form of images, designs and videos and reinforced with interesting captions to attract listeners.
