Abstract

There are still very few Reyog art staging facilities in Ponorogo, there is a need for supporting facilities for arts and culture activities so that the Ponorogo community is more aggressive in developing and preserving the local Ponorogo arts and culture, therefore it is necessary to create a Ponorogo Reyog Art Performance Facility as a facility to support the activities of Ponorogo artists. . This design will also apply the theme of Archipelago Architecture, Archipelago Architecture is the application of local cultural elements to the building. By adapting or transforming buildings from cultural elements that exist in the archipelago. The application of Archipelago Architecture also aims to increase public awareness of the importance of preserving and preserving Indonesian original culture. There are several issues that are scattered about freely claiming reog ponorogo abroad. The purpose of this design is also an effort so that the Reyog Ponorogo art is recognized by UNESCO ((United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization)) as an intangible cultural heritage. In this context, the Ponorogo Regional Office of Education and Culture organizes a Reyog Budaya festival once a month as an event for Reyog Ponorogo to be recognized as Indonesian local culture.
