Abstract

Tourism is one source of income for regions that have tourist attraction locations by developing tourism potential as an effort to optimize regional income. Generally, tourist areas have their own characteristics so that the provision of facilities and infrastructure as well as entertainment or tourist rides are related so that they can be enjoyed in the area. For tourism attractions, there is still a need to develop facilities to support tourism potential in this region. The research method begins with collecting field data, then conducting a literature review of the attractiveness of Kastela Fort tourist attractions. The basic concept of this facility obtained is "Heroic Memory and Nostalgia" with the concept of Memorabilia approach. The concept of memorabilia is applied by planning the style and visual character of the building. This concept is expected to interpret the location of Kastela Fort as a historical location and potential tourist attraction. The application of the concept of memorabilia in the development of supporting facilities is in the form of mass composition, forms of activities, and the prominence of architectural styles along with the characteristics and characters of these architectural styles.
