Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between social support and academic flow with achievement motivation. This analysis uses the independent variables of social support and academic flow. The dependent variable is achievement motivation. This research is a type of quantitative research using correlational quantitative research. The sampling technique in this study used the incidental sampling method with a sample of 133 students of class X and XI at SMA 17 August 1945 Surabaya. The data analysis technique used multiple regression analysis and the results of the simultaneous test showed a significance value of 0.000 (p <0.01). This means that social support and academic flow simultaneously affect achievement motivation. In the partial test, there is a significant effect between social support and achievement motivation with a significant value of 0.001 (p <0.05) and academic flow with achievement motivation with a significant value of 0.000 (p <0.05). This means that the higher the level of social support received and the level of academic flow felt by high school students, the higher the level of achievement motivation of high school students.
