Abstract

The purpose of the study was to test the conceptual framework model using Authentic Leadership and Affective Commitment variables to improve Individual Performance and guided by Social Exchange Theory. The research method uses a quantitative approach with a population of 168 employees of PT Pos Indonesia Surabaya Main Branch Office. Data analysis using multiple linear regression. The results of this study indicate that the variables Authentic Leadership and Affective Commitment each affect Individual Performance. Suggestions that can be given that Authentic Leadership and Affective Commitment which are proven to have an effect on Individual Performance can be used as a consideration for organizations in improving employee performance.
