Abstract

Peristiwa Korosi Merupakan Masalah Penting Atas Terjadinya Kegagalan pada Material Terutama pada Bangunan Laut, yang Biasanya di Tempatkan pada Lingkungan Korosif. Salah Satu Upaya Untuk Memperlambat Korosi pada Material Yaitu dengan Metode Pelapisan Atau Coating. pada Penelitian Ini Menggunakan Material Baja Jenis Astm A36 Ukuran 12cmx6cm dan Ketebalan 10mm Untuk Uji Adhesi. Lalu Menggunakan Specimen dengan Ukuran yang Berbeda Untuk Pengujian Laju Korosi dengan Menggunakan Ukuran 5cmx2,5cm Dengan Ketebalan Baja 10mm. Alasan Penggunaan Material Ini Karena Baja Astm A36 Sering Digunakan Sebagai Material Bangunan Laut Kerangka Industry Manufaktur, Dll. Metode yang Digunakan Untuk Penelitian Ini Yaitu dengan Variasi Sudut Blasting yang Digunakan Yaitu 30 Derajat,60 Derajat dan 90 Derajat Untuk Jarak Penyemprotannya 30cm dan Waktu Penyemprotan 30 detik. Proses Coating yang Digunakan Yaitu Campuran Epoxy dan Alumunium Oxide. Untuk Campuran Alumunium Oxide Dengan Tiga Variasi yaitu 10 persen, 20 persen dan 30 persen. Hasil yang di Harapkan Dari Penelitian Ini Yaitu Mendapatkan Hasil Pengaruh Variasi Blasting dan Pelapisan Baja Atau Coating Epoxy dengan Variasi Campuran Alumunium Oxide pada Baja Astm A36 terhadap Uji Kekuatan Adhesi dan Uji Laju Korosi dengan Metode Perendaman Atau Kehilangan Berat Terhadap Larutan Hcl 15 persen Selama 15 Hari.
