Abstract

Public Relations is a management function of a planned and sustainable public attitude. The role of public relations is considered very appropriate as a communicator in conducting internal and external communication in the company. One field that requires the role of public relations is the employee relations program, where this program requires special closeness between leaders and employees by being bridged by public relations which acts as the company's middle line. In addition, work loyalty from employees is needed by a company, based on this loyalty will arise comfort in working and carrying out all the tasks that have been given by the leader to employees. This study aims to determine the employee relations strategy that has been planned by the Public Relations of PT Perkebunan Nusantara XI Surabaya in increasing employee loyalty. This study uses qualitative methods with a descriptive approach. Data were collected based on the results of interviews, and observations to research subjects. The results showed that PT Perkebunan Nusantara XI Surabaya succeeded in providing interesting innovations that can provide work comfort to employees through its employee relations program. So job satisfaction from employees and motivation to stay in work go together and it affects the loyalty of employees of PT Perkebunan Nusantara XI Surabaya.
