Abstract

Rengginang is a kind of thick cracker made from glutinous rice that is shaped round and dried by drying in the sun. In Nanom Village, Gresik Regency, rengginang is made by manual method which then when it is ready, drying is done. Rengginang in its manufacture still requires a lot of human labor which when doing a lot of production will make humans exhausted and make dough that is sometimes not the same diameter. Based on the problem, the solution offered is the manufacture of a host printer that uses a microcontroller to be able to work automatically. This tool also has 4 infrared sensors and 3 limit switch sensors as object detection, uses mkanism to distribute dough, mash automatically and is able to provide lubrication automatically. This tool is useful for home industries that want to produce rengginang, especially in Nanom Village, Gresik Regency. Arduino Uno as a controller that can facilitate the process of printing rengginang with an average of 5 prints in 1 minute as before which only used hands manually with an average of 4 prints in 1 minute. The tools in this final project can also perform printing with a consistent diameter and save human labor.
