Abstract

Sustainable development goals (TPB)/ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) or the 2030 agenda were declared on September 25 2015 which aims to maintain sustainable improvement of the community's economic welfare, maintain the sustainability of social life of the community, maintain environmental quality and inclusive development and implementation of good governance management that is able to maintain the improvement of the quality of life from one generation to the next. The TPB/SDGs action plan is in line with the 2020-2024 RPJMN. The government appeals to all existing aspects to help realize the SDGs, it is hoped that sectors such as BUMD can help achieve this goal. PDAM Surya Sembada City of Surabaya as one of the Regional Companies in the City of Surabaya is a clean water service provider company that supplies clean water needs for the City of Surabaya and its surroundings. This study aims to determine the role of PDAM Surya Sembada in realizing the SDGs in the economic, social and environmental sectors. The results of the study found that PDAM helped realize the SDGs goals proclaimed by the government. In the social sector, this can be seen from the existence of an educational assistance program for Low-Income Communities (MBR) students in the form of tuition fees for 3 years in several junior high schools in the city of Surabaya. In the economic sector, it can be seen from the amount of water distribution in the small and large business sector in the city of Surabaya in the last 5 years. As well as in the environmental sector PDAM Surya Sembada City of Surabaya in its company activities has paid attention to and reviewed environmental impacts, has an AMDAL, and does not take ground water.
