Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis eksistensi pesona TV sebagai media lokal dan mengidentifikasi peran serta dampaknya terhadap masyarakat. Dalam era digital dan globalisasi media, pesona TV sebagai media lokal seringkali dianggap terpinggirkan oleh media digital dan internasional. Namun, penelitian ini akan menyoroti keunikan dan nilai-nilai yang dimiliki oleh pesona TV sebagai media lokal. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan melakukan studi kasus pada beberapa program TV lokal yang populer di suatu wilayah tertentu. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam dengan direktur utama, editor, dan pemirsa setia Pesona TV. Selain itu, juga dilakukan analisis konten visual dan naratif dari program-program tersebut.Teori yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah teori Niche, yang dimana teori ini digunakan untuk melihat eksistensi Pesona TV di era siaran digital dan bagaimana strategi Pesona TV sebagai media lokal dapat bertahan di era siaran digital. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa upaya eksistensi pesona TV sebagai media lokal mampu menyajikan konten yang khusus dan relevan dengan budaya, tradisi, dan isu lokal yang dihadapi oleh masyarakat setempat. Namun terdapat kendala pada konsistensi penyiaran yang menyebabkan siaran pada frekuensi internet tersendat. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi dalam memahami pentingnya eksistensi pesona TV sebagai media lokal dalam konteks digital dan. Hasil penelitian ini dapat menjadi acuan bagi produser, pembuat kebijakan, dan pemangku kepentingan lainnya dalam memperkuat peran dan dampak positif pesona TV sebagai media lokal.
