Abstract
This study aims to determine the relationship between self-efficacy and psychological well-being with self-adjustment in new students at Islamic boarding schools. This research is a type of correlational quantitative research using data analysis techniques, namely multiple regression analysis. This research was conducted at SMPN 3 Darul Ulum Peterongan Jombang with a total of 244 students participating. Based on the results of the partial test, it shows that the correlation value between self-efficacy and self-adjustment is 0.280 with a significance of 0.000 (p <0.01). This means that there is a significant relationship between self-efficacy and adjustment. Then a correlation value was obtained between psychological well-being and self-adjustment of 0.627 with a significance of 0.000 (p <0.01). This means that there is a significant relationship between psychological well�being and adjustment. Meanwhile, the simultaneous test results obtained with a correlation score of R = 0.839 with a significance of 0.000 (p <0.01). This means that there is a relationship between self-efficacy and psychological well-being with self-adjustment having a positive and very significant relationship. This means that the higher the self-efficacy and psychological well-being, the higher the self-adjustment of new students at Islamic boarding schools in the process of adjusting to a new environment. The effective contribution in this study was 0.704. This means that self�efficacy and psychological well-being contribute 70.4% to self-adjustment.
