Abstract

Human Resources (HR) play an important role in facing challenges and taking advantage of opportunities offered by technological developments and innovations. The quality and competence of human resources is a valuable asset for an organization in carrying out its operations, including in the administration of government organizations. Employee performance has a close relationship with the level of discipline. Discipline is an attitude or behavior that shows adherence to rules, duties, responsibilities, and organizational values. When an employee has a high level of discipline, it tends to have a positive impact on his performance. Discipline and motivation are important factors that need to be instilled in an agency, especially in the context of public services. The combination of strong discipline and high motivation creates a productive and efficient work environment in providing public services. This research was conducted in the Kelurahan in the Lamongan District, Lamongan Regency. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of work discipline and motivation partially or simultaneously on employee performance. The sample used in this study were all employees, totaling 61 people. Data collection techniques in this study were carried out through observation and distributing questionnaires. The results of the study show that work discipline and motivation partially or simultaneously have a significant influence on employee performance Village Office in the Lamongan District, Lamongan Regency.
