Abstract

In the government sector, public service is used as a system to create actions that are able to fulfill the elements of the people's interests so that a public service can be said to be good if it can provide excellent service. Meanwhile, providing excellent service is a form of effort to achieve community loyalty or provide services that are based on the A6 factor pattern of excellent service, such as Ability, Attitude, Appearance, Action, Attention. and Accountability (Responsibility). One of the services provided by the government are motorized vehicle testing,that is providing services in the field of road safety traffic by inspecting and testing motorized vehicles and preserving or reducing environmental pollution, especially air pollution. The purpose of this study is to describe and analyze motorized vehicle testing services in an effort to realize excellent service at the UPTD Motorized Vehicle Testing at the City Transportation Service. In this research, the writer needs primary data, interviews and direct field observations as well as secondary data in the form of data or information related to the research focus. The informants in this study were the Head of the Motorized Vehicle Testing Sub-Cooror at the Surabaya City Transportation Service, UPTD Employees for Motorized Vehicle Testing and Communities who use motorized vehicle testing services UPTD Motorized Vehicle Testing at the Surabaya City Transportation Service. Based on the results of the research, motorized vehicle testing services in an effort to realize excellent service at the Surabaya City Transportation Service, especially the Wiyung Motorized Vehicle Testing UPTD have been carried out quite well in terms of the A6 factor of excellent service which is a measure but there are problems in the Ability, Appearance, Accountability. From the results of this study it can be concluded that the Analysis of Motorized Vehicle Testing Services in an Effort to Realize Excellent Service at the Surabaya City Transportation Service has been carried out well in terms of attitude, attention and action and there are obstacles in terms of ability, appearance and responsibility.
