Abstract

Govinda Rumi is a photographer who is quite widely known in Indonesia behind the Instagram account @govindarumi. To distinguish Govinda Rumi from other photographers, there needs to be a strong personal branding of Govinda Rumi. The purpose of this study to determine the visual appearance, review patterns, and audience response used by Govinda Rumi on Instagram account @govindarumi. This study describes the descriptive qualitative using visual methods from Gillian Rose. The result of the findings is the visual appearance of the photo has its own characteristics and categories, namely pre-wedding, family photoshoot, and street photography. Govinda rumi has always been unique in his photographs and uses photographic techniques very well and perfectly. Govinda Rumi's photo work always gets a positive response from his audience and never gets a negative response. Govinda Rumi has introduced the Eight laws of Personal Branding on his Instagram page. Instagram has been able to communicate its concept well to the audience through its Instagram posts, Instagram accounts that have received a blue tick indicate that the photo content on Instagram @govindarumi has proven to be authentic and original.
