Abstract
Instagram is one of the social media that is widely used by Indonesians, not just an application to improve self-existence, but Instagram can also be used to share information with each other. The Instagram account @kulinertuban is one of the accounts that actively shares culinary information in Tuban Regency. This study aims to determine how effective the communication effectiveness of the Instagram account @kulinertuban is as a culinary information account for the people of Tuban Regency by using the theory of communication effectiveness from Andre Hardjana which consists of 6 indicators, the 6 indicators are; recipient, message content, media, message format, message source, and timeliness. In this study, the sample was taken using a probability sampling technique with a total of 100 respondents. Research data was obtained by distributing questionnaires to @kulinertuban Instagram followers through the story feature on the @kulinertuban Instagram account. The data analysis used was quantitative descriptive using the SPSS Version 25 program. The results showed a percentage value of 84.77% which was included in the very effective category. This shows that the Instagram account @kulinertuban is very effective as a culinary information medium for the people of Tuban Regency.
