Abstract

In the era of globalization, the management of population data in Indonesia must start using technology in it. With the use of technology in managing population data, it will make the work of the government even easier. The use of technology in carrying out all activities in government is a form of government affirmation to implement E Government/Electronic Government. In the government, the Dispendukcapil has the task of assisting regional leaders in carrying out governmental affairs in the field of population management and also population registration. Currently, in the implementation of the management of population administration and civil registration at the Surabaya City Population and Civil Registry Office, there are certain innovations, one of which is the Klampid New Generation (KNG). Klampid New Generation is an application as well as a web that is used as a tool in online population administration which includes marriage, birth, death, moving and also coming. In Surabaya itself, in addition to carrying out administrative management, it can be done privately, but it can also be done in sub-districts and sub-districts in Surabaya. This innovation can improve the performance of the Education Office in providing services to residents. Apart from using the KNG application, the population administration management process also uses the SIAK application. even though technology has been used, in society there are still some problems in the process of managing population data that need to be discussed again so that there are solutions to overcome these problems.
