Abstract

This Setigi Tourism is a potential owned by Sekapuk Village which originated from theformer limestone mining company PT Polowijo Gosari which was no longer used and then usedas a garbage disposal site for the people of Sekapuk Village from 2003-2017. As time goes by, the people of Sekapuk Village use it to become a leading tourist spot in Sekapuk Village. With the establishment of Setigi Tourism, a strategy is needed in the development and sustainable development efforts to make Setigi Tourism even better. The aims of this study are: 1) to describe in depth the strategy for developing Setigi tourism, 2) to describe in depth the inhibiting and supporting factors directly in the field regarding the development of Setigi tourism. The data collection method used in this research is a qualitative research type method with a descriptive approach, which is then produced in the form of descriptive data. Descriptive data,namely written and spoken words that have been observed, are then taken to form a conclusionabout the meaning of the issues that occur. The results of the study show that in the Setigi Tourism development strategy in increasing the economic potential of this village, SWOT analysis is used to obtain strategies that can be used, namely: a) Development policies that are carried out focus on one point so that they are maximized and the results are visible. The development and improvements made at Setigi Tourism are not solely for the advancement and benefits of the community and local government, b) Policies in the preservation and control of Setigi Tourism with programs that can be carried out are by attracting outside investors in improving facilities and infrastructure by investing in Tourism Setigi, c) Policies that create quality human resources that are innovative, creative, professional and able to compete.
