Abstract

Automation helps humans do manual work efficiently and the information obtained is up-to-date. One implementation of automation is room rental. Room rental is an option in helping productive activities such as being used for meetings, seminars, workshops, and providing a place for business people who are starting a business or who might be building a startup with a team. However, room rentals are still carried out with a manual system, namely the tenant contacting the room provider via telephone or text message. Some of the obstacles that occur such as data collection of empty schedules, tenants, and financial reports are relatively longer and less accurate. And if automation has been carried out but only at its scope, it has not reached widely. Currently, no business space rental system can be applied to various places. This research results in a web-based business space booking management system design using the prototype method. Keywords: Management System, Leasing, Room Booking, Prototype.
