Abstract
This study aims to determine the influence of strategic human resource management on innovation, innovation on competitive advantage and strategic human resource management on sustainable competitive advantage ofemployees at UD Sido Luhur Surabaya. The design of this study uses the applied theory method of HR management strategy (resource-based-view). The data used in this research is quantitative data. The analytical method used is the mediation regression test, data quality test, classical assumption test, and hypothesis testing. Observations were carried out from May 2022 to June 2022 The results of this study indicate that strategic human resource management has an effect on innovation, innovation has an effect on competitive advantageand strategic human resource management has an effect on increasing the sustainable competitive advantage of employees at UD Sido Luhur Surabaya. The strategic human resources that the company implements for employees will improve employee performance, and also the implementation of training on technological advances for employees will increase sustainable competitive advantage well for the performance carried out by employees.
