Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui, menganalisis dan menjawab apa yang menjadi penyebab terjadinya kredit macet pada PT Pegadaian CPS Sampang baik karena adanya faktor internal ataupun faktor eksternal. Penelitian ini mengambil data primer yaitu dengan menyebarkan kuesioner, adapun data sekunder yang diperoleh dari pimpinan cabang PT Pegadaian CPS Sampang dengan manambah dan memberi informasi lebih mengenai topik penelitian ini. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan bantuan SPSS ver 16. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi linier berganda serta Uji Koefisien Determinasi (R²), Uji f dan Uji t untuk pengujian hipotesis. Sedangkan uji asumsi klasik yang digunakan antara lain Uji Normalitas, Uji Multikolinieritas dan Uji Heteroskedastisitas. Secara keseluruhan, indikator yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini valid (karena koefisien korelasi >0,235 dengan tingkat signifikan <0,05) dan reliabel (karena nilai koefisien Cronbach’s Alpha > 0,60). Hasil uji asumsi klasik juga menunjukkan bahwa penelitian ini telah memenuhi, antara lain; 1) residual kedua model regresi berdistribusi normal; 2) kedua model regresi bebas dari multikolinieritas; 3) tidak terjadi heteroskedastisitas, yang artinya Faktor Internal (X1) dan Faktor Eksternal (X2) berpengaruh signifikan terhadap terjadinya kredit macet pada PT Pegadaian CPS Sampang.
