Abstract

This research aims to knows the relationship between the internal locus of controlby academic Procrastination On Psychology Faculty Students of 2015 and 2016At The University Of August 17 1945 Surabaya.The hypothesis in this study was there’s a negative relationship between internal locus of control by academic Procrastination On Psychology Faculty Students of 2015 and 2016At The University Of August 17 1945 Surabaya. The subjects of this study were students who took the 2017 practical class taken by insidentalsamplingof 194 students. Data retrieval is done by using two scales, namely the scale of internal locus of control that reveals individual beliefs about successes and failures that occur because of being influenced by themselves on psychology faculty students and the scale of academic procrastination to reveal students in procrastinating on academic assignments. Hypothesis testing conducted using Product Moment analysis obtained rxy = - 0,493 at a significance level of 0,000(p<0,01). This means that there is a negative is very significant relationship between internal locus of control and academic procrastination On Psychology Faculty Students of 2015 and 2016At The University Of August 17 1945 Surabaya.
