Abstract

The development of increasingly sophisticated technology follows the needs of the community, one of which is in the world of telecommunications, namely FTTH (Fiber to the Home) which is a format for sending optical signals from provider centers to customer homes using optical fiber as a delivery medium. Delivery using FTTH technology can save costs and be able to reduce operating costs and provide better service to customers. OLT is related to Fiber to the Home (FTTH). OLT or short for Optical Line Terminal is an endpoint hardware in a passive optical network (PON). One of the problems faced is the unavailability of a monitoring system to find out the condition of the Optical Line Terminal device remotely. The monitoring system on this tool can monitor devices that are outdoors based on the humidity level of the device, control the temperature level of the device based on air temperature conditions, detect fires using Infrared sensors, and Device security using RFID. In this tool, the monitoring system for calculating the temperature level of the device uses a temperature input of no more than 40 degrees Celsius and the fan output will turn on to stabilize the temperature. The humidity of the device based on the humidity level is known by the DHT11 sensor. For temperature control using the input of temperature conditions not more or less than 20 - 40 °C. The output is in the form of turning the heater or fan on and off. For humidity control the limit of conditions is not more than 30%. The remote monitoring system can display data on temperature, humidity, fire detection, and key security with RFID.
