Abstract
This study aims to describe the phenomena of friendship and bullying that appear in the scenes of the animated film A Silent Voice. Scenes that have bullying elements will be processed using Colroso's bullying concept in Atika. while scenes that have elements of friendship will be processed using Rowland.S.Miller's concept of friendship. Data collection techniques will be carried out with documentation on film. Researchers will use Langer's symbol theory in the form of connotation and denotation. Researchers will also use textual analysis methods to examine each scene that contains elements of bullying and friendship in the animated film A Silent Voice.The results of the research on the depiction of friendship and bullying in the film A Silent Voice are 4 myths. 3 myths of bullying, namely first, groups with large numbers bully someone who has a physical disability or those who stand out in their environment, the second, namely bullying that is carried out in the long term, causes the victim to become helpless and surrender, then the third, in the form of a statement that the degree of people who having physical disabilities is still lower than people who do not have defects in their body parts, and 1 friendship myth in the form of a friend will defend his friend even though what their friend does is wrong.
