Abstract
Resilience is an important thing for every individual, especially overseas students. These overseas students will be faced with an environment that will experience various problems, especially those caused by language differences and cultural differences. Overseas students who have a high level of resilience will more easily rise from problems and be more successful in social life and in their studies. One of the factors that influence individual resilience is the individual's social support. Depending on the support received, individuals begin to dare to face all the problems they face in the midst of their migration. The subjects in this study were the overseas students used as samples who were active students, aged 17 to 24 years, from outside the city of Surabaya who currently live in Surabaya and do not live with their parents. The sampling technique used in this study is accidental sampling where the sampling technique is based on spontaneity where anyone the researcher meets with appropriate withdrawals can become a sample. The number of samples in this study were 107 respondents. The research design used quantitative research with social support scales and resilience scales as measuring instruments. In data analysis using the Product Moment parametric correlation technique with the IBM SPSS 25 for windows program. The results obtained were rxy 0.611 with a significance value of p=0.000, where p <0.01, meaning that there was a very significant positive relationship between social support and the resilience of overseas students.
