Abstract
To modern societies that have been indulged in by means and infrastructure and high office deprive them of a purpose in life. They're having a hard time figuring out burial in the process of her life. Rather, the lives of the fishermen remain trapped in the traditional pattern of living in which they have to deal with various obstacles and problems amid the limitations and uncertainties they have. The study focused on how meaningful life was at the village of the poor district's tambakrejo. This study USES extremely random sampling with the specified criteria of participants. The study USES qualitative methods with a descriptive type of researchers (PFD). The datacollection technique that this research USES is observation and interview. Results obtained from this study show that the living rate of the fishing community in the village of tambakrejo, poor district at a moderate rate. Research based on descriptive analysis of phenomena also shows that artistry has a strong passion and determination about living a life. They use their families asa reason to live their lives. This should encourage participants to find meaning in their lives. Keywords: The meaning of life, Fishermen, Poverty
